Denplan Essentials

From £14.25 per month

Denplan Essentials is a dental plan which helps you budget for your routine preventive dental care. Seeing your dentist regularly is important as it can help you avoid having to undergo costly, restorative treatments. The dental plan is easy to set up and no pre-assessment is necessary. Your dentist will decide how often he needs to see you. You will have to pay for any restorative dental treatment necessary (ie. crowns, bridges or fillings):

2 routine dental examinations
2 x hygiene appointments
Payment by convenient monthly Direct Debit, allowing you to budget
Guaranteed registration with the practice and continuing access to your dentist
Cover for assistance with a dental trauma, a dental emergency or if diagnosed with oral cancer upto £10,000
24 hour access to a worldwide dental emergency helpline.
10% discount on private treatment
excludes Implants and Orthodontics

Treatment not covered by this plan can be paid for separately. Eligibility and pricing are subject to a dental examination. Prices may vary depending on personal requirements. Treatment not covered includes:

Restorative dental treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures (at the discretion of your dentist)

Laboratory fees and prescriptions

Any treatment excluded by the dentists in your contract which is payable by you to the dentist

Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment

Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment

Sedation fees

Denplan Care

Denplan Care is a monthly payment plan which helps you pay for your routine and restorative dental treatment. The amount you pay is decided by your dentist, based on your oral health and how much dental treatment you will need. After an initial assessment by the dentist of your oral health you will be placed into one of five fee categories and receive the following benefits :

All your preventive dental care is included
Payment by convenient monthly Direct Debit, allowing you to budget
Early identification of dental problems to prevent pain, discomfort and inconvenience
Appointment times to suit you whenever possible
Priority booking in the event of a dental emergency
Access to a 24-hour dental emergency helpline 365 days per year
Eligibility to request assistance from the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme
X-rays included as required
Routine oral cancer screening
Diet and oral hygiene advice
Dental health examinations
Hygiene appointments including scale and polish and periodontal advice
Crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays, Root canal treatment (excluding laboratory fees)

Although non-routine services are available from the practice, some items fall outside the scope of the Denplan Care plan and the following are not covered by the monthly payment:
• cosmetic dentistry
• referrals to specialists
• laboratory fees
• implants
• orthodontics
